There has been a steady slowing down of new construction building permits issued here in Jackson County and the surrounding counties as well. Seems like the economy and real estate market have affected this area ( maybe not as much as other areas such as Florida) as well. With a new president and a new year upon us, hopefully we will see some more activity in the area..
